Japan, November 2006
Departing from Cengkareng on 20:15 - Nov 20, 2006. I took a long flight to Japan, with a very short stopover in Singapore. Around seven hours flight by SQ is enough to see several movies at inflight krisworld videos; I watched Pirates of the Carribean, FnF Tokyo Drift, Superman, My Super ex girlfriend, the devil wears prada, etc. Not all of course, i just skip forward some portion. Finally, I arrived at Narita Airport terminal 1 around 7AM (22 Nov). Since I have to wait another person, I tread a narita airport guides, it's a good reference. There I found a shower room on second floor, it costs 500 yen per 30 minutes. I'm glad that the shopkeeper doesn't angry when I paid it by 10000yen. :D
With a fresh feeling after bath, i walk around airport mall. I found a massage chair, it costs 200yen for ten minutes massage. But there's another problem, I have to insert 2 x 100yen to operate the machine, but the smallest currency I have is 500yen (the change from shower). Fortunately, there are vending machines in every corner, so I can bought a small bottle of Coca Cola for 120yen, then I enjoyed the massage.
Soon after I met my friend, we took Limousine Bus to YCAT (Yokohama City Air Terminal) for 3500yen. It tooks 90 minutes by bus to Yokohama, then we use train for about 20 minutes to our hotel. What I can say about this hotel is cheap but not chippy. It has an internet connection on each room for free, but I have a problem to join the windows network (i use an apple), so I just utilize computer at the lobby (100yen for 10 minutes internet connection). Actually, that day I already arrange some sightseeing trip. I want to take sightseeing bus, which will be depart at 14:00. Unfortunately, I missed the bus, so I decide to take a lunch first. My friend treat me lunch at Porta underground, we ate prawn tempura.
After lunch, we start sightseeing by Sea Bass from Yokohama Station East Exit to Yamashita Park. Then we walk through Chinatown and went to Minato Mirai 21 by train. Out from the station, we walk through moving floors (flat elevator) to the plaza, then we walk to Hard Rock Cafe Yokohama. Since we don't have enough time on the next days, we continue our trip to Hard Rock Cafe Roppongi by train. 
We bought some merchandise, then return to the hotel.
November 22, we had a meeting at forum 246, so we go from our hotel to AikoIshida station. November 23 morning, we went to Nissan Technical Centre at Hon-Atsugi area, then we go to forum 246 again to continue our meeting. November 24, we visit Zama Plant and Oppama
Plant. November 25 morning, we took the first train to Yokohama. Then we have limousine bus from YCAT to Narita. Then I fly to Singapore for vacation. I'll write my singapore trip on other blog.
